Have you ever heard about Maca?

Maca is a tuber. If it has been found for twenty years, and consumed by the Peruvian Andes for millennias. The Incas already praised the energizing and medicinal properties of this food considered a natural aphrodisiac. It is one of the few edible plants able to grow at an altitude as high as that of the Andean highlands. It grows between 3,800 and 4,500 meters above sea level. What are its effects on our body? Why is it interesting for us to eat it? This study from Northumbria University in Newcastle has shown that the consumption of maca has improved the athletic performance of cyclists, traveling 40km fast
